We are a bespoke carpentry and creative fabrication workshop based in Bristol. A friendly and highly skilled team of carpenters with extensive knowledge of furniture, design and materials. We specialise in providing a hand tailored design and build experience to clients across the UK. We also work alongside metal workers and upholsterers. We love working with a variety of timbers and natural products and prioritise sustainability and high quality materials.
The Real Wood Project was founded in 2012 by designer and carpenter, Chris John Ball. Chris is a creative and design led craftsman. His years of experience and attention to detail, combined with his expertise in CAD and machining means The Real Wood Project produces work of the highest standard. Chris is friendly and approachable, always focusing on exceeding the client’s expectations and putting his everything into each piece and project. He is a problem solver, loves the design process and is passionate about great quality furniture, that is built to last a lifetime.
